Melbourne Superules Football Club

Melbourne Superules Football Club is a social footy club for active guys aged 35 years or older (or those turning 35 in the current year) who want to keep fit and have fun playing Australian Rules Football in a friendly, social atmosphere.
We have a Supers team (35+), a Masters team (40+) and an Legends team (47+)
The emphasis around the club is on providing a welcoming environment for friends and family, including activities for children.
Melbourne Superules Football Club recent successes include winning the 2nd-Division Premiership in 2004.
Training is held at Ross Gregory Oval in Albert Park Reserve at 6pm each Wednesday evening (Feb-Aug). New players are most welcome - just turn up.
The Melbourne Superules Football Club home ground is conveniently located at Ross Gregory Oval at the St Kilda end of Albert Park Reserve (off Village Green Drive). This superb oval and facilities are shared with Power House Amateur Football Club.

Masters Australian Football Competition
Melbourne Superules Football Club plays in the Victorian Metropolitan Northern Superules competition within the Masters Australian Football (MAF) national organisation. As Collegians Superules we were 3rd-Division runners-up in 2002 & 2003, and 2nd-Division premiers in 2004.
There is also a Victorian Country competition and other MAF competitions in other states. A national carnival is held each October with the host state/territory rotating each year. In 2002 a MAF representative side toured Ireland in the first MAF International Rules series, coinciding with the AFL's International Rules series in Ireland. The Irish side came to Australia in 2003 and the annual international rivalry continues.
